Mando won the Presidential Council on Intellectual Property Award at the ICT Patent Management Awards 2020 held by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korean Intellectual Property Office.
Mando was honored with the award in recognition of its achievements in securing global patents in autonomous technologies such as Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) hardware and software and for contributing to competitiveness of the Korean automobile parts industry.
Mando currently holds 1,741 patents (983 domestic patents; 758 foreign patents) related to ADAS technology.
Mando is especially focusing on disseminating ADAS functions for driver safety and convenience by leading the popularization of radar, camera,s and ultrasonic sensors as the core solutions of autonomous driving technology.
