    • Commemorative ceremony held for the mass production of BMW UKL CALIPER.
    • Mando ed as the 46th place from among the world’s 100
      largest parts makers.
    • Selected as the winner of the 2013 National Brand Award in the automobile parts sector. (2 years consecutively).
    • India corporation MIS and MIL merged, and a new integrated corporation , Mando Automotive India Limited, launched (4/1).
    • Initial orders for braking systems worth 176 billion won received
      from Fiat of Italy.

  • 2012

    • Agreement concluded with Diamond Electric of Japan on introducing OBC (On-Board Battery Charger) technologies.
    • Won award for being a great Korean company to work for 2012.
    • Global R&D Center completion ceremony held.
    • Won the IT Innovation Grand Prize of the Republic of Korea for 2012 and received Prime Minister’s commendation. IT convergence advanced safety system developed for the first time in
      Korea and mass production started.
    • Successfully received orders for products worth 550 billion won from Nissan and GM. Products related to steering and braking system including electronic parking brakes will be supplied.
    • "Mando Footloose" globally launched from Eurobike amidst
      favorable comments by the world press.
    • MJO(Mando Jakarta Office) opening ceremony held.
    • Won best technology award from the Minister of Knowledge & Economy for “Integrated collision safety control system”: Longitudinal driving support and collision safety system developed for the first time in the nation and mass production started successfully.

    • Won silver prize (Knowledge & Economy Minister award) of the Technology Grand Prize of the Republic of Korea:
      (SPAS: Smart Parking Assist System).
    • Selected as “one of the 100 companies showing excellent results in national R&D project”: (Vision-Based Intelligent Steering System)
    • Large orders for automobile parts received from GM and parts worth
      US$ 520,000,000 will be supplied starting in 2014.
    • Won the “IR52 Jang Young-Sil” award for its
      “High-Output Column-Type MDPS”
    • Acquired E-Polymer Co., Ltd., the engineering plastic material maker
