The Brake Plant was the first in Korea, and the fourth in the world, to have completed the development and production of the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) and Traction Control System (TCS). In addition, it was the fourth in the world to have developed and produced the Electronic Stability Program (ESP), which was known as the dream brake system, in 2003. Mando’s brake systems are supplied to domestic automobile companies as well as the world’s leading vehicle companies such as GM, Ford, and DaimlerChrysler, and will be supplied to Peugeot Citroen Automobiles (PSA) in the future, and thus its world-class quality is recognized by the world.
The Brake Plant controls a vehicle test site where various driving tests are performed, and manages design, production, and quality at the same time, enhancing the reliability of its products.
